About The Author:

I started writing when I was twelve. What started as a school assignment for English class, a short story, turned into an epic story that I worked on through junior high and high school. That story turned into my second novel Soul Mates which was first published in 2011. It is currently out of print, except for a few copies I have available at book signings. I am working on having it edited and will be republishing it, giving it a new cover which was designed by my good friend Heidi Fitzpatrick. You can find excerpts from this and my other works that will be republished here on my page.

I will admit I jumped too soon into the publishing world, but over the past seven years I have learned a lot from the experience, and hope to go forward from here and produce good quality works of fiction that I can be proud of.

If you don’t make mistakes, how can you learn from them?

I appreciate hard criticism, and productive negative feedback because it makes me want to do better. I can’t become the author I want to be, without knowing what needs improvement.

A writing Quote that best describes why I write

“Find a subject you care about and which in your heart you feel others should care about. It is the genuine caring and not your games with language which will be the most compelling and seductive element in your style.- Kurt Vonnegut
